Jeans are intersting. Really. There are so many different cuts, colors, and styles that look great on just about anyone. They are a little baggier and are often rolled up. They are perfect for spring and summer.

The great thing about these jeans, is simply that hey are jeans! Let me explain. Jeans go with almost anything. They can be dressed up or dressed down. However, jeans can also get a little boring sometimes. Boyfriend jeans can add a little bit of edge to your everyday look. They, too, can be dressed up or dressed down. But they look a little more stylish, a little more different, than other typical jeans.

Since the 1920's women's fashion has always been spiced up a bit by using touches of clothing and accessories from men's fashion. Coco Chanel really paved the way with style inspired by mens-ware. It represented the idea of simplicity and an overwhelming sense of confidence. This has often been true throughout the years on the runway. But, many men's-ware trends never really made it out on the streets. However, this all changed in 2009 when Katie Holmes showed up in loose-fitting jeans. They almost looked like they had come straight out of her husband's closet. This was so different, so casual and nonchalent that it caught the attention of many tabloids and other media. This started one of the biggest trends in Hollywood of the 2000's.

The crazy thing is that this trend still hasn't gone away. In fact, I would say it has even picked up. When Katie Holmes first debued her new jeans style, it was more of a warm, spring look. However, in places such as New York City, these jeans have become a must-have for all seasons.

It has become increasingly popular to year these jeans with large sweaters and heels or booties. The look provides a sense of "I didn't try that hard...but I still look super fashionable." Overall, these pants are very comfortable and super fashionable. One of the best things about these is that they are still jeans, so there are quite a few variations. For example, Forever21 has boyfriend jeans that are a little tighter. Old Navy has them in a baggier, more relaxed style with different colors. Just about any retailer carries them, which is awesome. It means that there are many different options!

For summer, they will be awesome when paired with a tiny tank top and cardigan around the waist. Add some cute sandels and boom! Super cute!

Regardless of what you pair with these, they will almost always look good with whatever! Personally, I think the best look is a tighter shirt on top with a baggier look on the bottom. I like how these can look great with anything in any season! I would totally recommend purchasing a pair or two before the spring season!
